DYFED-Powys Police is appealing for information about a serious road traffic collision on the A485 at Olmarch, which has left a child with life threatening injuries.

A blue Subaru Legacy Outback and a black Mitsubishi Shogun 4×4, towing a livestock trailer, collided head-on sometime before 8.50am today (May 4) between Llangybi and Tregaron.

The driver of the car – a 28-year-old woman – and her two children were taken to hospital. One of the children was airlifted to with life threatening injuries.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries. No animals were injured.

The blue Subaru was travelling towards Lampeter, while the black Mitsubishi, towing the livestock trailer, was travelling towards Tregaron.
