SOUTH Wales Police is re-appealing for witnesses who may have information regarding the investigation into the murder of Damian John Hill.
Mr Hill was assaulted in Oakfield Street at around 2.10am on Sunday, May 27.
The 39-year-old was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, but died of his injuries.
Detectives have released a CCTV image which shows two men that were in the area at the time of the assault and therefore may be able to help in the investigation.
Detective Inspector Matt Powell, from the South Wales Police Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “We have received considerable assistance from the community who have come forward with information.
“However we continue to seek other people who may have witnessed the incident.
“In particular, we would like to speak to two men who can be seen in the CCTV image. These men walked through Oakfield Street shortly after incident, turned right onto Newport Road and then left onto Clifton Street
“We believe they may have seen what happened or those who were involved, and may be able to help our investigation.
“If you are one of these men, or you recognise them, please contact us as soon as possible.”
Information is also still sought on an orange bike which is seen on CCTV in the area of the incident at the relevant time.
Officers need know where it has been since May 27 and where it is now.
The bike is described as an orange/red GT mountain bike.

Kalib Steven Facey, 19, and Philomena McDonagh, 33, have been charged with murder and remanding in custody awaiting trial.
