SOUTH Wales Police can now confirm the identity of the third man who died in a road traffic collision which occurred on the A4232 during the early hours of Sunday. Dayne Thomas, 19, is from Cwmbran.
His family have paid the following tribute to him:
“Dayne was known for his white floppy hair, loud voice, wicked sense of humour and quick wit.
He was a larger than life character with more energy than he knew what to do with.
His bonkers personality infected everybody he came into contact with.
We as a family are absolutely devastated our world has been torn apart.
He could not have been loved any more than he is.
He was fast becoming a loving farther to his gorgeous little boy, whom his memory will live on.
Sleep tight my boy.”
Two other men died in the collision – Alex Davidson, 19, from Cwmbran and Robert Bambridge, 24 , from Pontypool.
All three were travelling in a grey Ford Focus at the time.
